Since his pioneering work at Cornell University with electrospray techniques, Dr. Jack Henion’s name is synonymous with countless advances in LC/MS. Over his own career he has been the teacher, supervisor, mentor and collaborator to many successful scientists. He also founded two very successful LC/MS focused businesses, a bioanalysis CRO and a LC/MS product company. Still today Jack enjoys active participation at the frontiers of mass spectrometry.
In this podcast we hear Jack’s story of where it all started at 3:00 AM in a Cornell laboratory, what that led to today and a multitude of lessons along the way. Take a listen and you’ll also hear his thoughts on techniques we may have inadvertently left behind and how some of this may shape the future of LC/MS.
